The SANY SSR212 Single Drum Roller operates at 27,337 lbs with an 84-inch drum and 145 net horsepower from a Cummins QSB4.5 engine, sized for subgrade compaction on road construction, subdivision site development, and larger earthwork jobs where the SSR80's smaller drum would mean more passes. A lower overall profile improves transport clearance and keeps the machine stable on grade.

The SSR212 runs dual vibration frequencies of 32 and 40 Hz with selectable amplitude, so the operator can dial in compaction energy for soil, gravel, or base material, and its standard high-traction mode keeps the drum gripping on slopes and loose surfaces instead of spinning out. A padfoot kit converts it to a sheepsfoot roller for clay-heavy or cohesive fill, and dual adjustable steel smooth drum scrapers keep material off the drum on longer runs in its standard smooth drum configuration.
