Rent a 5.8 to 8 Ton Compact Excavator

 For sewer laterals, drainage trenches, and small foundations, start with the SY50U, SY60C, or SY75C. The SY50U has a short tail, so the counterweight stays close to the tracks next to buildings and traffic. The SY60C and SY75C swing a conventional tail with more counterweight, which adds lifting capacity over the side.


 Dig depth runs from 11' 3" on the SY50U to 14' 7" on the SY75C, and all three machines have a dozer blade for backfill and grading.

 Rent a 9.7 to 10.1 Ton Compact Excavator

 Municipal water and sewer jobs and basement digs are where the 9.7 and 10.1 ton excavators earn their place. On street work, the SY80U's short tail keeps the machine in a single lane, and the SY95C brings extra digging force for foundation and deep trench work.


Both of these compact excavators can dig past 14 feet, with 73 hp on the SY80U and 72 hp on the SY95C.
