Field service and parts are available during the rental. When the job wraps, return the machine or apply rental payments toward buying it.

To rent a 2 ton mini excavator for a backyard or alley job, ask for the SANY SY16C, a 4,023 lb machine with 7' 9" of dig depth and a retractable undercarriage. The tracks narrow to pass through a gate, then widen back out for stability once the machine is in position.


The SY16C tows behind a pickup on a light trailer, so a crew can move between residential jobs in a single day. Rubber tracks keep damage to lawns and patios to a minimum.

The SANY SY26U is the machine to ask for when you need to rent a 3 ton mini excavator for work along a house, a wall, or a property line. Zero tail swing keeps the counterweight inside the tracks through the full rotation, so the back of the machine never swings.


At 6,085 lb with 9' 3" of dig depth, the SY26U handles water, sewer, and electrical service lines and foundation drainage on residential lots. The equipped dozer blade takes care of backfill and cleanup.


Best for: Service laterals, foundation drainage, retaining wall footings, and residential trenching.

Two versions are available. The SY35U Cab has an enclosed, climate-controlled cab for summer heat and winter digging, and the SY35U Canopy gives you the same machine with an open canopy.


Best for: Pool excavation, footings for additions and garages, deeper utility trenches, and basement waterproofing.
